How important are these guys?
Nothing would happen without them. They are true trojans in our Industry and have a passion for the Greyhounds and a pure understanding of the welfare of the dogs. We thank Racing Queensland for their support.
We have short notice to organise this event and we need all the help we can get. Anyone who can volunteer their services, even it is just for an hour or 2 would be very much appreciated. It all counts.
Remember that it is not only this lunchtime event that is being organised, but we have a trade site at the Show, where we will be talking and showing the public our Greyhounds. For this we will also need volunteers who possibly have a suitable greyhound to mix with the public and the kids who just love the dogs.

The site will be used to hand out brochures about racing & the racing industry as a whole, sample bags, balloons and invite parents to take photos of the kids with the greyhounds.
We believe that a stint of a couple of hours is enough for the dogs to cope with. We will have a resting crate for any greyhound who needs to get away from the action for a while.
Maning the site usually takes about 3-4 people at one time with 2 or 3 greyhounds. Please get in touch if you can offer an hour or 2.
